On 18 Oct 2024, FII added some future long positions and decreased the index short positions. This looks slightly positive for the market, but in options, they increased the positions in call short as well as put short, but put short positions are more compared to call short positions in options.
But in the case of Pro Trader, they have decreased both future index long and future index short positions but looks like they are bullish on the market. In the case of options, they have added more positions in the options index put short so this also looks bullish.
DII decreased slightly in both index short and long future index positions but future index short positions are more so they are still bullish.
In the case of clients, they look bullish in index future and neutral in index options.
The result was declared on 18 Oct after market hours and on 19 Oct. Market reaction is still pending.
